The Drakken is the work of Todd Schmitt, of San Diego. Drakken has held title as "prettiest Weekender" at times because we like the dark hull and the nicely finished decks. Todd carefully varnished the crushed walnut non-skid decks, which looks really elegant. He has an improved set of white sails made from custom tarp material, and soon will be switching to Dacron sails. Todd's Weekender was built with extensive use of mahogany, even to the stringers in some areas.
